My name is Andrea van den Boogaard, and I am based in Chicago, Illinois.

I believe that visibility, creative storytelling, and restorative community work are irrevocably intertwined. I mix my background as a live performance production worker with my love for resource sharing, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting neighborhood gathering spaces - And I love to weave 35mm film photography, music journalism, and live events into the mix, too!

In my current role, I serve as Operations Manager for the Chicago Council on Science and Technology. I am a contributing writer and photographer for Hooligan Mag, and my work is also featured in Amplified Chicago. My degree is from UC San Diego, where I studied Theatre and Political Science.
